Essential Job Duties:
• Accurate and timely reconciliation of open cash, check, electronic and credit card receipts as assigned or as directed by region/location-based Cash Application Manager
• Application of cash to the correct open invoices
• Reconciliation of aged open receipts as directed by India-based or region/location-based Cash Application Team Leader or Manager
• Processing Check and Credit card refunds
• Process the Non-Sufficient Fund(NSF) checks by mentioning the appropriate GL account for the NSF check based on the bank report & the all the NSF check for the day to be shared to the collectors
• Interact with other departments/location/Bus/Cost Center, such as the local Credit Control team, Treasury and Accounting, as necessary to resolve customer payment issues
• Preparation of Upload file for all the cash receipt based on the cash sheet saved in the respective folder
• Reconciliation of Daily deposit cash & check log sheet with the data provided by the supervisor for each location
• Work closely with Collections and Credit team members as well as region/location-based Collections, Credit and Cash Application teams.

Essential Job Duties:

• Perform month end closing cycle for those activities and entities assigned to her/him on time and with the required level of quality. Ensures general ledger entries are complete, accurate and posted on time. Deliver and maintain the month end checklist for assigned activities and entities.
• Ensures consistency and completeness of data transfers between the sub-ledgers and GL
• Administration of lease and VAT reporting.
• For the entities under responsibility, acts as the SSC GL key contact for local/regional and corporate finance
• Ensures, that all accounts under her/his responsibility are reconciled in timely manner. Reviews reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts, maintains a log of all reconciling items and ensures all reconciling items are resolved in timely manner

• Cooperate with the external and internal auditors, as requested by the GL Manager. Ensures requested Internal and external audit requirements are met on time and in full
• For the tasks and activities assigned to her/him, responsible for the integrity of all financial information provided, ensuring these is accurate, reliable and accounted for prudently. Contribute to maintaining a strong internal control environment at the SSC. Maintain, apply and monitor the key controls in the process under responsibility
